Beautiful Disaster

"I always consider myself a beautiful disaster because I'm full of scars, I'm full of tumors, I'm full of missing body pieces and yet, I still smile. I developed a splinter in my toe, and it got really infected and then I went to Canada, and they realized that I didn't have an artery that grew down my leg, so I had to have the amputation and it was just life changing. I was 11 years old, and I went into that operation as one person, but I came out as a different person. I had to grow up and learn how to handle something that most adults probably wouldn't be able to comprehend. "
