ABORTION
First, I think overpopulation is a myth, because there is so much land. I don’t ever think it’s a population problem. I think it is necessary. In whatever case, truthfully, a woman thinks it’s necessary. Do I agree with it? No, but is it necessary? Sometimes, yes, if that makes sense. Sometimes it “be” like that, especially on a more serious note, like when it comes to rape victims, and different things like that. That’s a different type of pain, like if you were forced to have a child. It’s like slavery. If you were raped and were forced to raise a child, that’s so much pain, for your entire life, as a woman, that you have to live with. That’s too dark. I don’t like it.
LGBTQ+ RIGHTS
The only thing I truthfully disagree with in that whole movement is just the education in elementary school. I’d rather this grow into the children naturally. Most of the gay people I speak to are like, “I knew this since I was six”. I have not an inkling in my body on what it’s like to be gay. I haven't a clue what it’s like. I’m not going to treat you any different, or hold you on your perception of love and things like that. I’m just like, leave the kids be. Let kids be kids. Sexuality, too. I’m not leaving that whole spectrum out. I would say in that realm, I guess guide them. Don’t force them, but guide them in what creates life first, even though there are a whole bunch of beautiful little children that need to be adopted, too. I’m not saying it as abrasive as it comes out, but it’s a very touchy subject. Just leave them in the regular route first, and if they decide to make a left, hey, I’m here for you. Don’t teach them in the book, as a curriculum, as a child, but maybe in health class in high school, or something like that. Then be like, “People like different things”, or yadda, yadda, yadda. I think that’s a more appropriate time, rather than in elementary school. I ain't trippin’. I don’t care. I grew up in a two-woman household for a time. My mom was gay for a time.
RACIAL MOVEMENTS
I’m a very big advocate for black men and men in general. This is where I’m going to get into my man bag, but the way we feel about things doesn't seem as important. Our pain, our struggles, what we go through isn’t as important.
On BLM’s mission statements, a lot of it was very anti-man. A big problem I have with the black community is that there isn’t a nuclear family there. The warmth and nurturing and strength from a mother, and the protection, the providing, and the wisdom of a man. I also don’t like how attached they are to the Democratic party. The Democratic party really panders. I feel like we’re always used by the Democratic party to collect votes but nothing really significant happens. I would rather the Black Lives Matter money that they’re putting towards the Democratic party, if that’s the truth about what’s happening, be put back into the community. The bulk of it. Prison reform for us. Not depend on a party to do it for us. I believe that they have the platform and the power to do everything they want, rather than to be pushing it through the Democratic party. I guess that’s really it because I believe in the nuclear family and then I also believe that we have a black and powerful organization the way that they are. We should put the money into the black community and do it ourselves with the same money that they’re giving to somebody else.
Most suicides are men. Most drug overdoses and addictions come from men. Most people who go to war and come back completely thrashed are men; however, the same people, the fewest number of people in therapy, are men. A lot of us are thrashed on the inside. I don’t really know if my violence towards the government is something that is internally in me that I haven’t fixed from growing up in a violent childhood. It’s just normal.
A woman asked me, "how do you feel on the inside?" I’m still trying to figure out that question. The only way I know how to feel on the inside is by responding to what happens on the outside. How do I feel without the attachment of what’s happening on the outside? I don’t know. I don’t even know what that means. I can’t read that deep into my emotions.
Unfortunately, nobody degrades our women like black men do. No other culture speaks down on our women’s name like we do. I think that just all comes from that power structure that I was talking about earlier, of us having to look to the government to be a provider. There is so much pain stacked on top of us that we don’t know how to communicate. Even with me, the only way I can figure something out is through violence. There are other ways, but I can’t think of any. I don’t have the emotional depth to figure it out. That’s why a woman is so important. She can guide me, like," hey, look, listen...this is how you do this", and I listen. It’s us working together. That’s why I think the nuclear family is important. Us working together is important because we can really change this thing together. That’s the problem with the black community. We’re not unified. We don’t ever do it together.
CAPITALISM
It’s hard because I’ve been to South Korea. I spent a month and a half there. Their government is more of a socialist-type. When you’re walking around, there are no homeless people in the streets. It’s different, because everybody has to do two years in the military when they get out of high school or whatever grade school they have. The streets were clean. There weren’t a lot of rioting and strikes going on. There wasn’t a lot of poverty. There weren’t shortages of food. I’ve seen a socialist government a little bit by experience but I’ve only ever lived in a capitalist government. I don’t agree with having a government so it’s hard for me to explain.
If you worked hard for it and had different connections I’m not going to pit that against you. At the same time, it should be punishable to not do anything for your country. Capitalism should be tweaked. I do like to see wealthy people. I think little tweaks in the system would make a lot of change. Do I disagree with the way that current capitalism is being run? Yes. Do I want socialism, though? No. A communist government? Not at all. I’d like for everyone to have the free will to make as much money as they want to, but let’s put a stipulation on it. If you make this much money, you have to fix this, this, this, and this in the country. Sharing is caring.
CLIMATE CHANGE
This is going to sound nuts. I might sound a little crazy this time. Man has not been recording the weather enough to know that this isn’t a natural occurrence. I know we’ve done things to boost what may be happening, but there were two whole ice ages. How can you just predict that? What was the Earth doing to just be like, “Oh, an ice age is coming.” The Earth is, what, trillions of years old? Like, trillions? Who are we to say that this isn’t something that happens, because the Earth is literally a living being. Literally. It gives life out of the ground. It’s literally it’s own thing. It can go through cycles and phases. I’m not looking at the Earth as a rock. It’s something that is alive. I don’t think man is as smart as we think we are. I tell you a hurricane is coming. That’s all I can do. I can’t stop it. I can’t do anything but tell you that it’s coming. There’s nothing that I can do about it. Earth may just be going through something that it naturally does and the way that we’re living our lives is just helping it happen. We’ve only been recording weather for no more than 300 years. A thousand years ago, I couldn’t tell you how hot it was outside or what heat waves came through. There’s no way to tell that. Me and climate change is a little sticky because I think that the Earth is a lot deeper than what we’re recording on our little machines.
We also live in a system where we don’t know what to believe and what not to believe, all the information that we see and what we’re being allowed to see. The reality of what’s being shown to us is very thin. If we go outside and it’s 110 one day and 109 one day, can we feel that? Or we can pull out an instrument and be like, “It’s “this” hot out right now.” It’s so new, I can’t say what the Earth is doing. If a volcano erupts, why? Earthquakes just happen. Why? It’s one of those things that Earth *may* do. The Earth is a living thing. We are alive because the Earth gives us things that are living. People would think it’s just a rock. Nah, this thing, it might have it’s own emotions, for all we know. It might have it’s own consciousness, for all we know. I’m going to let “her” do her thing.
IMMIGRATION
It isn’t up to anybody to tell a person where they can or can’t go. Everything around it is weird. When we’re born, we get automatic social security numbers, like we’re a package. We’re an Amazon package when we’re born. You get put into a computer the second you’re born, like you’re a product. It’s like saying these products can’t mix in, when it comes to the government and immigration. I (the government) have ownership over this land and these people, so I can say who comes in here. It’s messed up. You shouldn’t be able to tell somebody where they can and can’t go on the Earth. It belongs to all of us. No matter what your property or money or whatever you think it says, that’s not something you can dictate.
